RFINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF THE LARGE PLASTIC DEFORMATION BEHAVIOR OF AMORPHOUS GLASSY CIRCULAR POLYMERIC BARS.pdf
The BPA Eight—chain molecular chain network model is introduced into thefinite element formulation of elastic-plastic deformation. And then, the tensile deformationlocalization development of the amorphous glassy circular polymeric bars (such asPolycarbonates) is numerically simulated. The simulated result is compared with experimentalones, and very good consistence between numerical simulation and experiment is obtained, which shows the efficiency of the finite element analysis. Finally, the influences of themicrostructure parameter Sss on tensile neck-spreading and stress three-dimension respondingare studied.
